Dubai takes the crown yet again as the leading destination for executive nomads, according to the Savills Executive Nomad Index. This marks the second consecutive year that Dubai has claimed the top spot, while Abu Dhabi maintains its second-place ranking for the second year in a row. The Index also highlights the rising popularity of Malaga (3rd), Miami (4th), and Lisbon (5th) as preferred locations for remote working business leaders.
The Savills Executive Nomad Index ranks 30 destinations based on their desirability and accessibility to long-term remote workers. The criteria include factors such as internet speed, air connectivity, climate stability, prime residential market prices, and overall quality of life, which are combined to determine the overall ranking.
In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Dubai takes the lead in terms of its extensive flight network, while Abu Dhabi ranks highest in terms of internet speed. These factors, combined with tax efficiency, lifestyle, safety, and ease of doing business, make the UAE the top destination for executive nomads, as stated by Andrew Cummings, head of Savills Residential Agency in the Middle East.
