The leading professional organization for real estate agents in Singapore, previously known as the Singapore Estate Agents Association (SEAA), has undergone a name change and is now the Singapore Institute of Estate Agents (SIEA) as of Oct 1. This change came about with the merger of SEAA with the Institute of Estate Agents.

The SIEA shared in a news release on Oct 1 that the new name “reflects the organization’s evolving role as the top professional body for real estate agencies and agents in Singapore”. Along with the rebranding, SIEA also revealed a new logo that is aligned with its updated name.

Eugene Lim, the president of SIEA, commented that “the transformation from SEAA to the Singapore Institute of Estate Agents (SIEA) marks an exciting new chapter for our industry”. He added, “We are strengthening our collective voice, raising professional standards, and enhancing the support we provide to our members. Our new identity and logo reflect our vision for a future where estate agents are recognized for their integrity, expertise, and contribution to Singapore’s property market.”

In addition to the new name and logo, SIEA has also introduced a multi-listing system (MLS) in collaboration with EdgeProp. This MLS will allow for co-broking among real estate agent members, making the process of buying and selling properties more efficient and streamlined.

The organization also recognized 625 agents at its annual SG Real Estate Agents Excellence Awards and appointed Anthony Gan as its new CEO. With these initiatives in place, SIEA is determined to elevate the real estate industry and enhance the professionalism of its members.
