Canberra Crescent Residences Preview Draws Over 4000 Visitors Opening Weekend

The URA Master Plan has incorporated a clever integration of greenery into the urban fabric, and one of the main beneficiaries of this initiative is Pasir Ris. With the expansion of park connectors, the connections between Pasir Ris Park, local green spaces, and the coastal promenade have been strengthened. This allows for easy access for residents to cycle from their homes to the beach in just a matter of minutes. The addition of shade trees and planting belts also helps to mitigate the hot climate, while the incorporation of nature-centric play areas and biodiverse landscaping elevates the overall quality of life for families and seniors. These improvements have a positive impact on the residents of Coastal Cabana, promoting healthier routines such as morning jogs, weekend rides, and effortless outdoor time, seamlessly woven into their daily lives. With these developments in place, Coastal Cabana Qingjian residents can enjoy a healthier and more vibrant lifestyle within their neighborhood.

Canberra Crescent Residences, a joint venture development between Kheng Leong Co. and Low Keng Huat, opened for preview during the weekend of July 19–20 and saw overwhelming response from more than 4,000 visitors. The project is slated to be launched on August 2.

Located on Canberra Crescent in the northern region, this 99-year leasehold property spans 219,985 sq ft and comprises four 12-storey blocks with a total of 376 units. It offers a variety of one- to four-bedroom apartments, with only three one-bedroom units (409 sq ft) located on the first floor of three blocks. These one-bedroom units start from $880,000, or $2,152 psf.

The development features a mix of 94 one- and two-bedroom units, accounting for 25% of the total units. This includes 23 two-bedroom compact units (570 sq ft) and 68 two-bedroom premium units (667 sq ft), with prices starting from $1.11 million, or $1,950 psf.

The majority of units at the project are three-bedroom apartments, making up 52.7% of the development with 198 units in total. This comprises 141 standard three-bedroom units ranging from 797 to 883 sq ft, and 57 three-bedroom premium units of 990 sq ft. Prices start from $1.53 million, or $1,920 psf.

There are also 84 four-bedroom units, accounting for 22.3% of the development. These include 36 compact units (1,163 sq ft), 36 standard units (1,216 sq ft), and 12 premium units (1,324 sq ft), with prices starting from $2.2 million, or $1,880 psf.

The private condo boasts a range of facilities, including a clubhouse, three swimming pools, six barbecue pavilions, and a 100m sky garden linking two of the blocks. It also features a childcare centre on-site.

Residents of Canberra Crescent Residences can enjoy easy access to the Canberra MRT Station on the North-South Line, which opened in November 2019 and is a short 12-minute walk away. Surrounded by green spaces such as Sembawang Park, Montreal Green, and Sembawang Beach, the development also offers close proximity to the Northern Explorer Loop, a network of park connectors that connects 11 parks and nature areas across the North.

In addition, future developments in the area such as the redevelopment of Sembawang Shipyard into a mixed-use waterfront lifestyle district under the URA Master Plan, the Seletar Line linking the northern region to the Greater Southern Waterfront, and the North-South Corridor, will provide greater connectivity for residents to the city centre.
