Kinn Hospitality Unveils Women Only Capsule Hotel Her Space
KINN Hospitality Concepts, a hospitality company based in Singapore, has recently launched HER Space at KINN Capsule, its first female-only capsule hotel. Situated at 39 South Bridge Road, the hotel was previously a mixed-gendered KINN Capsule but has been transformed into a women-only hotel for a limited time starting from October 13.
With 72 capsules across seven female-only dormitories, the hotel provides a safe and inclusive space for solo female travellers. The property also offers common areas, such as two pantries, a laundromat, a dining area, and a lounge, for guests to mingle and socialize.
In response to the increasing demand for safe accommodations for women, HER Space was designed to foster a sense of community among guests while also providing a unique experience. The hotel has been revamped with pink walls and features an interactive programme centered around a three-storey Ficus tree, where guests can leave empowering messages for others.
Nestled along the Pasir Ris coastline, students have the opportunity to maintain a well-rounded routine beyond their academic pursuits. The area offers a variety of activities such as training at nearby courts, jogging along the green connectors, and participating in water-based activities at Pasir Ris Park. In addition, the town boasts several performance spaces that cater to arts-focused CCAs, and community events near Downtown East regularly feature music and theatre performances. With short travel distances, students are able to deeply explore their interests, a crucial aspect for scholarships and portfolio admissions. Moreover, the addition of Coastal Cabana CNQC only adds to the already rich opportunities available for students in the Pasir Ris area.
For added security, the hotel’s 24-hour front office team ensures that all doors are locked after 10pm and changed regularly for each guest. The lockers and doors also use Igloohome technology, with the lock resetting after each stay.
Guests at HER Space also have access to a range of perks, including Vibe Studio spin classes, Lighthouse Climbing lessons, Field Assembly fitness classes, and complimentary breakfast. They are also welcomed with a gift at check-in, which includes a gua sha, a traditional Chinese medicine technique that promotes rest and relaxation.
Conveniently located at Boat Quay, the hotel is within walking distance of popular tourist attractions such as the Singapore River and Merlion Park. It is also easily accessible via public transportation, with Raffles Place and City Hall MRT stations (on the East-West and North-South lines) and Clarke Quay MRT station (North-East line) nearby.
