Hilton and YTL hotels, a subsidiary of Malaysia’s YTL Corp Bhd, have recently entered into multiple property agreements to introduce the LXR Hotels & Resorts brand to Thailand and Tapestry Collection by Hilton to Japan. The partnership aims to offer travelers luxurious and unique experiences in two popular tourist destinations.
Under the LXR Hotels & Resorts portfolio, the Rawai Phuket and Kasara Niseko Village will be managed by Hilton. These hotels are set to open at the end of the year and will be situated at the base of Mount Annupuri, within the Niseko Village Ski Resort. This strategic location provides guests with easy access to Niseko’s world-renowned ski slopes, making it an ideal destination for adventure seekers.
In Japan, YTL Hotels will also be converting two existing properties into Hilton-managed hotels. The Green Leaf Niseko Village will join the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, a collection that features over 170 hotels worldwide with a focus on authentic local cuisine and vibrant design. Meanwhile, the Hinode Hills Niseko Village will be part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, a portfolio of 180 properties that showcase unique and upscale architecture.
The new 275-room Rawai Phuket, located at the southernmost tip of the island, will be Hilton’s latest addition to their luxury stronghold in Thailand. With a private beachfront and easy access to nearby islands, the hotel is expected to attract luxury travelers to Phuket.
According to Dato’ Mark Yeo Seok Kah, executive director of YTL Hotels, these properties will enhance the tourism potential of their respective destinations. Each hotel is positioned to provide a premium hospitality experience, in line with LXR’s focus on adventure and personalized luxury for guests.
The addition of the Rawai Phuket and Kasara Niseko Village will bring LXR Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio to almost 20 properties worldwide. Meanwhile, The Green Leaf Niseko Village and Hinode Hills Niseko Village will strengthen Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Curio Collection by Hilton respectively, offering travelers more choices for a unique and upscale stay experience.
